Senior/Principal AI/ML Engineer – Biotech
Salary: £80,000 - £120,000
Location: London/Remote

A cutting-edge biotech company is seeking a Senior/Principal AI Engineer to join their R&D team, developing novel data solutions for applications such as Oncology, Pathology, and RNA-Seq.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and product teams to build and scale AI/ML models.
2. Take projects from prototype to production-ready software.
3. Create tools for training, testing, and optimizing AI/ML models.
4. Work across cloud and on-prem environments.
5. Improve code quality and development speed.

Key Skills/Experience:

1. BS/BEng in Computer Science, Biomedical, or a related discipline.
2. Strong experience in software or algorithm development.
3. Proficiency in Python.
4. Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
5. Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
6. Experience with Docker or similar containerization tools.
7. A passion for applying technology to solve healthcare challenges.

Nice to Have:

1. Experience or understanding of Neural Networks.
2. Background in Biotechnology or Bioinformatics.
3. Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, or RESTful APIs.
4. Exposure to regulated medical software environments.
