Job summary

Dalkia UK is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor (M&E) to lead the commercial delivery of a major healthcare development. You will manage cost control, NEC/JCT contract compliance, and supply chain performance across the project lifecycle.

This role offers exposure to a wider healthcare project pipeline with long-term progression, mentoring junior colleagues within a supportive, people-first culture backed by EDF.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial management within MEP / M&E subcontracting.
• Proven ability in cost control, reporting, subcontractor management and change management.
• Clear understanding of NEC and/or JCT contracts (NEC Option C desirable).
• Experience preparing CVRs, cash flow forecasts and cost to complete.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider commercial team.
• Experience in live healthcare environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial delivery of MEP works on a major healthcare project.
• Carry out measurement and valuation of works, including variations and final accounts.
• Prepare and maintain CVRs, cost reporting and forecasts.
• Manage cash flow and maximise commercial performance.
• Procure, manage and agree subcontractor and supplier accounts.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and internal governance.
• Build strong relationships with clients, supply chain and internal teams.
• Support and mentor junior members of the commercial team.
