Job summary

Fusion People Ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor (M&E) to take commercial responsibility for major mechanical and electrical projects in Cardiff.

You will lead cost planning, forecasting, and financial control across multiple M&E packages, while managing NEC/JCT contracts, variations and claims. The role requires a strong background in M&E contracting, excellent negotiation and analytical skills, and the ability to oversee procurement, subcontract packages, and monthly

Qualifications

• Strong experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor, ideally at senior level.
• Excellent understanding of NEC and JCT contract forms.
• Confident communicator with negotiation and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost planning, forecasting, and financial control across multiple M&E packages.
• Manage NEC/JCT contracts, variations, change control, and claims.
• Oversee procurement, negotiate subcontract packages, and manage supply chain performance.
• Produce CVRs, valuations, and monthly commercial reports.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities to protect margins.
