Job summary

Citizen Housing is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager specialising in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) to steer our M&E compliance strategy across 24,000 homes. The role focuses on safeguarding safety, regulatory adherence and the continuous improvement of compliance systems.

You will lead a technical team, manage high-value contracts and budgets, and work with internal teams and regulators to deliver high-quality, safe housing services.

Qualifications

• Experienced compliance professional in mechanical and electrical (M&E) within housing, property or asset management.
• Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
• Proven ability to manage high-value contracts and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of M&E compliance programme and ensure regulatory requirements are met.
• Develop and implement compliance strategies, policies and management plans.
• Coach and develop a team of technical specialists.
• Oversee repair, servicing, and replacement of M&E systems across thousands of homes.
• Manage budgets, investment programmes and contractor performance.
• Drive improvements to compliance systems and asset data.
