Job summary

Elements Green, a UK-based renewable energy investor, is seeking a Senior Associate, M&A to drive its BESS acquisition strategy across the UK and Europe. You will evaluate opportunities, develop financial models, coordinate due diligence and support transactions from screening to completion.

You will work with investment, development, and legal teams to refine deal structures, perform sensitivity analysis and help hand over acquired projects to construction teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in M&A, infrastructure investment, private equity or renewable energy development environment.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Engineering or other quantitative discipline.
• Professional qualifications such as CFA would be advantageous but not essential.
• Demonstrable experience in financial modelling, valuation and investment analysis, ideally in renewables or infrastructure assets.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to build detailed project finance models.

Responsibilities

• Identify RTB and near-RTB BESS acquisition opportunities across the UK and Europe.
• Develop and maintain relationships with project developers, advisors and market participants.
• Assess opportunities against investment criteria including geography, maturity, grid connection and planning.
• Prepare investment screening papers and recommendations for internal review.
• Coordinate due diligence with internal teams and external advisors.
• Support negotiations and documentation throughout deal lifecycle.
