Job summary

Progressive is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer (Low Voltage) to lead the specification, design, procurement, installation, integration, testing, and commissioning of LV electrical systems on a major capital project. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety, compliance with BS 7671 and IEC standards, and successful delivery of the LV scope.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering LV power systems in regulated environments.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Knowledge of BS 7671 and IEC standards.

Responsibilities

• Support LV Electrical Engineering scope across a major capital project.
• Develop specifications, load schedules, cable schedules, equipment data sheets, and procurement packages.
• Support selection, specification, procurement, and integration of LV electrical systems and equipment.
• Assist in designing and reviewing electrical distribution systems, switchgear, MCCs, transformers, UPS systems, and power infrastructure.
• Support supplier engagement, tender evaluations, and design reviews.
• Provide electrical engineering input throughout design, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.
