Qualifications

• Hands-on profiling and performance tuning in Java.
• Strong knowledge of JRE/JVM internals and zero-GC patterns.
• Proven performance tuning and long-tail latency reduction in production.
• Solid Linux memory management and high‑performance I/O understanding.

Responsibilities

• Latency optimization: profile, analyze, and reduce long-tail latency spikes in the FX eTrading pipeline.
• Zero-GC engineering: design and refactor high-throughput Java code with zero-allocation techniques.
• JVM performance tuning: deep profiling and tuning of JVM/JRE runtime, memory, and threads.
• Framework development: build high-performance workflows using low-latency Java frameworks (e.g., Ambrosia) and telemetry (Grafana, KDB+).
• Cross-functional collaboration with quants, architects, and trading desks to optimize order execution and market data feeds.
