Overview

As a Senior Loss Adjustor you will play a pivotal role in managing and leading complex insurance claims, particularly within the energy and power sectors, including renewables. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a passionate, talented team dedicated to delivering exceptional outcomes for some of the world’s largest and most demanding clients.

Responsibilities
  • Lead on major and complex property damage claims, including post-loss claims preparation, presentation, and project management for a diverse range of clients across the Marsh broker client base.
  • Manage and deliver complex client engagements, ensuring effective expansion of the Claims Preparation reputation and profile across Marsh.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing expert advice and solutions across insurance claims management and dispute resolution
  • Support our advocacy teams where required with technical input and maintain close collaboration with our forensic accountants on business interruption claims
  • Prepare and review detailed analysis, proposals, and technical reports, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet client expectations.
  • Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and expanding the Claims Preparation practice within the UK.
Qualifications
  • A strong background in insurance claims as a qualified loss adjuster, with experience managing complex and demanding claims.
  • Superb people skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experience
  • Proven project management skills in handling major material damage and supporting on business interruption claims.
  • Excellent report writing, presentation, and communication skills.
  • A desire to share your knowledge and expertise with early career members of the team on larger claims with a project team.
  • Ability to travel locally at short notice.
  • Professional adjusting qualification such as ACILA or equivalent.
