Job summary

Kitt in Central London is seeking an experienced Chartered Surveyor to take ownership of a portfolio of landlord clients and manage the property management of their buildings end to end. This is a senior, hands-on role: you'll lead the client relationship, do the property management work yourself and help shape how the function scales in 2026 and beyond.

Qualifications

• You're a Chartered Surveyor with at least 5 years PQE in commercial property management.
• Experience running landlord instructions and managing landlord client relationships in London.
• Solid knowledge of service charges, compliance, leases and capital projects.
• Hands-on leader able to shape scaling of the function and mentor juniors.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of landlord clients and run property management end-to-end.
• Lead client relationships and produce clear reporting on performance and finances.
• Manage service charge budgets, reconciliations, compliance, and contractor management.
• Drive value through lettings, renewals, expansions, regears and capex projects.
• Present strategic recommendations and lead reviews with clients.
• Manage occupier relationships and lease events; coordinate external advisers as needed.
• Analyze building performance to identify efficiencies and opportunities.
• Lead whole building advisory work, including repositioning and refurbishment advice.
• Onboard new buildings and play a lead role in pitches for new instructions.
• Shape how property management scales, from processes to resourcing.
• Collaborate with operations, fit out and client experience teams to resolve issues.
