Job summary

DP World in Coventry is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to lead the design and implementation of complex supply chain solutions across Europe. You will work with Business Development, Operations, Procurement and Project teams to create data-driven, innovative concepts that deliver commercial value and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management or equivalent.
• Experience designing and implementing logistics, warehousing, fulfilment or supply chain solutions in complex environments.
• Lean and Six Sigma experience preferred as part of CI methods.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate data into practical solutions.
• Proficiency with Excel, AutoCAD, Visio and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of end-to-end supply chain solutions, from network optimisation to warehouse processes and layouts.
• Develop innovative concepts and engineering solutions for customer proposals, including facility layouts, processes, KPIs and models.
• Partner with Business Development, Account Management, Operations and Launch teams throughout solution development lifecycles.
• Present technical solutions and business cases to customers via proposals, presentations, workshops and calls.
• Support the transition of awarded projects into detailed operational designs and implementation plans.
• Lead or support engineering activities during new business launches, including process validation, infrastructure setup, contractor management and readiness.
• Analyse operational data to identify improvement opportunities and provide practical, measurable solutions.
• Act as a subject matter expert for engineering methodologies, process design, continuous improvement and best practices.
