Job summary

MBDA UK Ltd is seeking a Senior Logistics Inspection Associate to ensure received goods meet purchase orders and quality/compliance criteria. The role requires reading drawings, inspecting finishes, conducting first article inspections, and producing QC documentation.

On-site work is standard with hybrid considerations due to workload. Ideal candidates have Level 3 Mechanical/Manufacturing qualifications, SAP experience, and are team players with customer focus.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Level 3 academic qualification (ONC, diploma, etc.)
• Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Level 3 vocational qualification (NVQ)
• SAP experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Verify and accept procured product in line with contractual conditions.
• Read and understand assembly drawings.
• Inspect finish of all parts for faults or deterioration.
• Undertake first article inspections.
• Produce inspection/quality control documentation.
• Check and complete paperwork for delivered articles.
• Ensure inspection SLAs are met with demand.
• Control defect items via segregation; raise defect reports.
• Maintain product verification through audits.
• Inspect PCB and ensure compliance with manufacturing procedures.
• Maintain high workmanship standards and product quality.
• Contribute to a safe and orderly working environment.
