Documentation & Compliance

  • Supporting with customs clearance paperwork, including POAO (Products of Animal Origin) documentation to ensure smooth cross-border movement.
  • Supporting compliance with UK and international shipping regulations, including Inter Company trade terms (Incoterms), Harmonised System(HS) classification, country-specific rules, and relevant certifications.
  • Collaborating with the Retail Team to ensure completion of all retailer registration and operational paperwork, ensuring seamless setup for new markets and partners.

Performance Monitoring & Partner Management

  • Acting as the day-to-day liaison with 3PLs, ensuring visibility of inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Monitoring 3PL service levels and performance, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and ensuring alignment with SLAs.
  • Maintaining a roadmap of all logistics activity to support visibility, forward planning, and internal reporting.

Who You Are

  • Experience in logistics, particularly in the context of UK and international shipments.
  • Knowledge of global shipping methods (air, road, sea) and customs compliance procedures.
  • Strong working knowledge of customs procedures, particularly for POAO and EU shipments.
  • Familiarity with WMSs.
  • Excellent Excel skills and a structured approach to data and documentation.

  • A collaborative team player who also excels in independent settings.
  • Entrepreneurial and commercially minded.
  • Able and willing to work in fast paced scale up environments that are often full of ambiguity - an ability to effectively prioritise will be key.
