Job summary

Nakilat seeks an experienced Marine Technical Manager to lead the overall technical management of LNG/LPG vessels under NSQL, ensuring safe, compliant, and cost-efficient operations. You will support fleet projects and studies to enhance reliability and performance.

The role requires strong leadership in maintenance, regulatory compliance, budgeting, and liaison with third-party managers, focusing on LNG/LPG vessel operations and standards.

Qualifications

• Marine Engineering degree (Class 1) or equivalent.
• Minimum 8-12 years’ overall experience in LNG/LPG vessel operations.
• Experience as chief engineer or supervising LNG/LPG vessels.
• Experience managing large-scale repairs and maintenance on LPG/LNG vessels.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high technical and operational standards to meet reliability benchmarks.
• Monitor maintenance system for regulatory compliance and ship performance.
• Provide expert technical and marine engineering advice for reliable operations.
• Prepare vessel budgets and track variances to control costs.
• Attend tender evaluations with procurement for equipment and services.
