Barchester Healthcare is seeking an Activities Assistant for a care home in the United Kingdom. You will deliver imaginative, fun and varied activities to engage residents and foster a motivating environment.

You’ll help residents pursue their interests, support social outings and events, and strengthen involvement with family and the local community, helping them live as independently as possible while enjoying moments of fulfilment.

Qualifications

• No specific experience required.
• Must have a sense of fun, creativity and the ability to encourage and motivate others.
• Interest in developing skills through courses to build confidence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver imaginative, fun and varied activities for residents.
• Deliver an entertainment and activities programme including social activities, outings and events.
• Help residents live as independently as possible and enhance involvement with family, friends and the local community.
