Job summary

Leeds Conservatoire is seeking an experienced Live Events Professional to join the Events Production Team as an Events Technical Manager. You will manage delivery of live events and technical support for academic and professional programmes, supervising technicians and ensuring efficient use of equipment across internal and external spaces.

Qualifications

Extensive experience with lighting and sound systems and rigging.
Proven ability in performance venue technical management and stage operations in live settings.
Strong knowledge of Health & Safety requirements.
Experience supervising technical staff and coordinating competing demands under pressure.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee technical operation within the Conservatoire’s performance facilities.
Lead technical provision for live events, performances and workshops.
Ensure maintenance and security of equipment with a comprehensive inventory.
Act as Duty Manager for public concerts and events as required.
Collaborate with Head of Live Event Production on staffing and budget administration.
