Senior Litigator - RTA & Credit Hire

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Litigator to join our specialist RTA and credit hire practice based in Bolton. This is a dual-focus role combining hands‑on fee earning with leadership of our litigation team. You'll handle your own caseload of high-value and complex matters while providing strategic direction and mentorship to our team of litigators.

Location: Bolton

Hours: Full-time, office-based, 9:00am – 5:30pm

Salary: £60,000+ (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities

Fee Earning

• Manage a caseload of RTA and credit hire litigation matters from inception through to trial.
• Handle multi‑track and fast‑track claims, including those involving fundamental dishonesty allegations.
• Conduct advocacy at hearings and trials.
• Achieve and exceed individual fee earning targets.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and referrers.

Team Management

• Lead, manage and develop the litigation team.
• Supervise junior litigators and paralegals, providing guidance on case strategy.
