Job summary

Mercor is seeking senior litigation professionals to build evaluation tasks for AI systems operating in civil litigation and dispute resolution contexts. The workflows are calibrated to the case complexity, evidentiary stakes, and procedural scope of major commercial litigation and complex disputes.

The role spans two tracks: a US track (FRCP, FRE, and state analogs) and an International track (CPR, ICC/LCIA).

Qualifications

• 5+ years as litigator or trial attorney at a top firm or corporate department.
• Experience handling complex commercial litigation with trial/arbitration exposure.
• Fluency with litigation tooling and procedural rules.
• JD with bar admission or international equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Construct litigation scenarios across pre-trial to settlement or arbitration.
• Build tasks across commercial, complex and class action litigation, discovery, and trial advocacy.
• Develop scenarios involving e-discovery platforms and deposition/trial prep tools.
• Apply case strategy and discovery analysis to draft pleadings and memoranda.
• Author rubrics distinguishing authentic litigation judgment from generic recall.
