Job summary

Bermuda law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Attorney to join its Dispute Resolution team in Hamilton. The opportunity centers on high-value, cross-border litigation with long-term partnership as the stated ambition.

You will lead complex disputes, mentor junior lawyers, and build client relationships with insolvency practitioners and other professionals. A UK Bar background or Commonwealth experience is welcome, with relocation support and a sponsored work permit.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years' post-qualification experience.
• Strong court advocacy and contentious litigation experience.
• Significant restructuring and insolvency experience.
• Track record of leading files and managing complex, high-value disputes.
• Experience in leading London, offshore, Commonwealth or international firms.
• Strong commercial awareness and real business development capability.
• Established or developing relationships with insolvency practitioners, accountants and related professionals.
• Collaborative approach with mentoring junior lawyers.
• Ambition for long-term partnership prospects.
• Excellent drafting, legal analysis and client relationship skills.

What youll be doing as a Senior Litigation Attorney

This is a strategic growth role rather than a backfill. The firm has recently announced an alliance with Ogier, which brings cross-border collaboration, international referrals and multi-jurisdictional restructuring and insolvency work with it, so you would be joining at a genuinely useful moment.
