Qualifikationen

• 10+ years' experience with sophisticated Linux-based trading systems and infrastructure.
• Deep knowledge of Core Linux OS, including configuration, internals and troubleshooting.
• Python development for automation and tooling, not just scripting.
• Excellent communication skills, native-level English, and collaboration across engineering and business teams.
• Experience from elite hedge funds, HFT, prop trading, or tier-one banks.
• Track record of exceptional academic achievement in CS and strong trajectory of career progression.

What We're Looking For

We are interested in experienced infrastructure engineers who combine deep Linux expertise with genuine software engineering and problem-solving ability. We expect that you will have

You are likely to bring:

• 10+ years' experience within sophisticated and high-performance Linux-based trading systems and infrastructure
• Deep and expert knowledge of Core Linux operating systems, including configuration, internals and troubleshooting.
• Python development skills – automation and code are important, not just scripting as an occasional add-on.
• Boss-level troubleshooting and debugging ability across complex distributed environments.
• Experience with modern configuration management, automated builds, deployment and CI/CD.
• Excellent communication skills, native-level English, and the ability to collaborate across engineering and business teams.
• Experience from an elite hedge fund, HFT, prop trading firm or a tier-one bank
• Track record of exceptional achievement at school and university, with a deep understanding of computer science.
• Track record of positive career development - role tenure, promotions, increasing responsibility, training, general upward trajectory
• You are curious by nature and able to demonstrate your passion for technology, problem-solving, and building foundations of high-performance critical infrastructure.

Value Add

Additional experience with Rust, Go, C, Java or C#, DNS/DHCP/Kerberos, databases, large-scale storage or Windows/Linux integration would be particularly valuable.
