DXC Technology seeks an ITO Linux Engineer (Level 3) to act as the Linux technical authority across DXC-managed environments. You will own major incidents, drive root-cause analysis, and lead platform modernisation with a focus on security hardening and audit readiness.

You will mentor engineers, automate tasks with Ansible/Puppet, and collaborate with security, compliance, and networking teams to ensure resilience and compliant baselines in regulated environments.

Formación

• 5+ years Linux operations in enterprise, regulated environments.
• Expert troubleshooting across kernel, system, networking, storage and dependencies.
• Design and maintain CIS/STIG-aligned OS baselines, patching, vulnerability remediation.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Linux capacity planning across CPU, memory, disk, I/O and network.
• Define secure baselines for RHEL/CentOS/Oracle Linux/SUSE.
• Plan patch cycles with risk assessment and rollback.
• Own major incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
• Automate repetitive tasks with Bash/Python, Ansible or Puppet.
• Collaborate with security/compliance teams to maintain audit readiness.
• Mentor junior engineers and update runbooks with lessons learned.
• Review clustering and HA designs using Pacemaker/Corosync/DRBD.
