Qualifications

The Senior Line Chef supervises staff, ensures high standards of food preparation, and contributes to an excellent guest experience while assisting with food cost controls.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring all food preparation meets standards
• Preparing and presenting high-quality food
• Supervising staff
• Maintaining clean and tidy work areas to prevent cross-contamination
• Preparing mis-en-place for relevant menus
• Responding promptly to guest queries
• Ensuring food quality and proper storage
• Reporting maintenance, hygiene, and hazard issues
• Complying with security, fire, health, and food safety regulations
• Being environmentally conscious

Candidate profile:

• Experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or Senior/Line Chef
• Strong coaching skills
• Motivational leadership qualities
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
• Supervisory experience
• Positive attitude and ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work independently and in teams
