Job summary

Lloyd's Register International is seeking a Senior Lighting Technician to support productions onsite. The role collaborates with lighting designers to realise the lighting design to the highest standard within available resources and under the guidance of the Head of Production.

The candidate will bring experience from theatre or live performance environments, with strong knowledge of Ion consoles, LED fixtures, and moving lights, plus rigging and safety expertise.

Qualifications

• Experience as a lighting technician in a theatre, live performance, or drama school environment.
• Strong knowledge of lighting systems, including Ion consoles, LED fixtures, and moving lights.
• Experience with lighting rigging, maintenance, and equipment management.
• A good understanding of health and safety, including risk assessments.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• A collaborative approach and flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required.

The Senior Lighting Technician will report to the Technical Production Manager and work alongside lighting designers of individual productions to realise the production’s lighting design to the highest standard within available resources and within the parameters set by the Head of Production.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience as a lighting technician in a theatre, live performance, or drama school environment.
