Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Senior Lighting Design Engineer to join their Lighting and Energy Solutions team. This role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality lighting solutions across various sectors.

Key responsibilities include creating design layouts, preparing reports, conducting site visits, and developing proposals. The ideal candidate will have expertise in lighting design software, strong communication skills, and experience in local government or strategic road network sectors.

Qualifications

• Proficient in LightingReality or Dialux and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of external lighting standards and regulations.
• Experience in lighting design from conception to issue for construction.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison with stakeholders and clients.
• Create detailed design layouts and engineering drawings.
• Prepare feasibility reports and technical notes.
• Conduct site visits for lighting assessments.
• Develop project proposals and track progress.
