Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group is seeking an experienced Lifting Manager / Appointed Person to take ownership of lifting operations on a £300m flagship construction scheme in the UK. This senior role requires extensive lifting, craneage and risk-management expertise, with the authority to lead crane operations and subcontractors on site.

The successful candidate will operate at Senior Site Manager level, providing leadership, ensuring safety, quality and integration of lifting activities into the overall

Qualifications

Senior-level experience as Lifting Manager / Appointed Person on major construction projects.
Strong technical knowledge of lifting operations, craneage, lift planning and risk management.
Experience with Tier 1 contractors or large-scale complex schemes.
Excellent communication and leadership skills on site.

Responsibilities

Take overall responsibility for planning, coordinating and safely executing lifting operations across the project.
Act as the appointed person, overseeing lift plans, risk assessments and method statements.
Lead and coordinate lifting teams, crane operations and specialist subcontractors.
Integrate lifting activities into the construction programme with the wider site management team.
Provide strong leadership to maintain safety, quality and operational delivery.
