WeMaintain, a field operations–driven lift service company, is seeking an experienced Lift Service & Callout Engineer for Central London. You will maintain lifts, perform reactive callouts and fault finding to ensure reliability across customer sites.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of fully qualified experience in lift maintenance.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault‑finding skills.
• Experience managing planned maintenance activities and reactive breakdowns.
• Solid understanding of lift safety requirements and technical standards.
• Ability to work independently and organise workload.
• Strong communication skills to explain issues to customers.
• Methodical problem solving with attention to detail.
• Proactive mindset to identify issues before they arise.

Responsabilités

• Take ownership of maintenance portfolio with planned preventative maintenance across sites.
• Respond to breakdowns and callouts, diagnose faults and perform repairs.
• Prevent recurring problems by identifying wear and reliability issues.
• Build strong customer relationships and communicate clearly on site.
• Make informed technical decisions based on maintenance history and diagnostics.
• Coordinate with technical and Operations teams for complex repairs.
• Maintain accurate technical records of visits and interventions.
• Contribute feedback to improve tools, processes and ways of working.
