Job summary

Places for People Group is hiring at Places Leisure to supervise pool users and lifeguards, ensuring safety and smooth operations of the pool and building. You will lead a team, monitor H&S, and maintain high standards of customer service and cleanliness.

Role involves potential Duty Manager shifts; comprehensive training will be provided if you don’t already hold required licenses. A strong focus on safeguarding and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• NPLQ (or equivalent) is essential.
• Full training provided if you do not have a Pool Plant Operations License.
• Previous supervisor/management experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise customers and lifeguards while using pool facilities.
• Ensure health and safety of pool users at all times and oversee building operations.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain cleanliness; respond to queries promptly.
• Occasional Duty Manager cover and training as required.

More About Your Role

If you want to earn money whilst working in a fun, lively environment with a team of people like you, then this exciting new job could be for you. Working with passionate and driven people, you will be responsible for the supervision of our customers and other lifeguards whilst using our swimming and pool facilities. You will responsible for the H&S of pool users at all times and oversea the operations of the building. Customer service and the cleanliness will be first class and you will respond to customer queries promptly. This role requires an element of Duty Manager cover, therefore you will be open to undertaking required training.

More About You

A National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is essential. Full training will be provided if you do not possess a Pool Plant Operations License. Previous supervisor experience would be an advantage. As you will be working poolside you must be a competent swimmer and be safety conscious. As Duty Manager cover you will be managing a large team, so previous experience in supervisory/management capacity within a leisure centre would be desirable. We are looking for someone with excellent customer service and leadership skills.
