About The Role

We are recruiting for a Senior Support Worker to join our day team at our new children and young people's home, Anam Cara, in Friesthorpe, near Market Rasen.

About The Position

Reporting to the Deputy Manager, the Senior Support Worker within our Children’s Services is responsible for providing person-centred care and supporting the staff team to carry out their duties effectively, promoting choice and independence for our young people at all times.

What Will You Be Doing

  • Lead by example, behave and communicate appropriately at all times.
  • Contribute to the personal development of our young people with practical and emotional support.
  • Participate in activities within the home and wider community.
  • Support care planning and participate in reviews as requested.
  • Maintain accurate and clear record keeping.
  • Develop and strengthen links with families, friends, and significant others.
  • Work with the Night Team Leader to ensure smooth service delivery and communication.
  • Participate in staff supervisions and meetings, sharing relevant information.
  • Support the training and development of the staff team, including personal development and training needs.
