Job summary

TRP Recruitment Limited in London is seeking an imaginative Designer to create trend-led graphics and licensed fashion across menswear and boyswear. You will translate sportswear and streetwear trends into commercially viable concepts, present ranges to sales teams, and work with licensing approvals to bring products to market.

Ideal candidates will have strong graphics, CAD, and Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop skills, with experience in licensed fashion and a clear sense of current youth culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in graphics, licensed fashion, sportswear or streetwear.
• Highly creative with a trend-focused handwriting.
• Excellent Illustrator and Photoshop with CAD ability.
• Understanding of menswear/boyswear with licensed product experience.
• Confident presenting trends and design concepts to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Create trend-led graphics and licensed product across menswear and boyswear.
• Research future fashion, sportswear and streetwear trends and translate into concepts.

• Develop strong graphics, placements and product concepts.

We are currently working on a number of exciting Designer opportunities with different sports, streetwear and licensing businesses in London. These roles are ideal for highly creative, trend-focused designers with a strong fashion and graphics handwriting.

The successful candidates will be creating fashion-forward product across menswear and boyswear, with a strong focus on graphics, trend direction and commercial product development.

Main responsibilities

• Creating trend-led graphics and/or licensed product across menswear and boyswear
• Researching future fashion, sportswear and streetwear trends and translating these into commercial design concepts
• Producing high-level trend boards, mood boards and design presentations
• Developing strong graphics, placements and product concepts
• Presenting ranges and creative direction to sales teams, buyers and internal stakeholders
• Working closely with commercial and product teams to ensure ranges are relevant, innovative and commercially viable
• Managing product through the licensing approval process and responding to feedback where required
• Keeping up to date with youth culture, fashion and emerging design trends

Person specification

• Strong experience within graphics, licensed fashion, sportswear or streetwear
• Highly creative with a contemporary, trend-focused design handwriting
• Excellent Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills with strong graphic and CAD ability
• Strong understanding of menswear and/or boyswear with experience creating commercial licensed product
• Confident presenting trend direction and design concepts, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
