Job Title: Senior Library Assistant

Barton Peveril is a thriving and innovative sixth form college with excellent student outcomes. It was judged Outstanding by Ofsted in November 2022. We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Library Assistant to join our Library Team.

The Glyn Library is the key study space at the College, supporting students with independent learning through physical and digital resources.

Responsibilities:

1. Work to a high standard, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
2. Provide operational support to the Library Manager.
3. Collaborate with the team on projects to improve the library service and student preparation for university.
4. Support students in using physical and digital learning resources.
5. Deliver training sessions on research skills, referencing, and other study elements.
6. Maintain good attention to detail, confidence in IT, and a mature, responsible attitude towards work.
