The Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is advertising a part-time band 6 senior clinician post in the Liaison Psychiatry team, Older People’s Service, based at St James’s Hospital in Leeds. The 22.5-hour role includes some evening and weekend out-of-hours work and is suitable for professionals with clinical registration.

Qualifikationen

• Degree or diploma in mental health nursing, occupational therapy or social work.
• Current registration with NMC, HCPC or Social Work England.
• At least 2 years at band 5 or above.
• Right to work in the UK or sponsorship eligibility (for registered practitioner roles).

Aufgaben

• Provide biopsychosocial assessment and risk assessment for general hospital inpatients.
• Deliver short-term psychosocial interventions to patients.
• Develop clinical formulations and management plans.
• Hold and manage a small caseload autonomously.
• Support new patient assessments and MDT input.
• Advise and educate hospital staff on mental health, risk, and community services.
• Collaborate with hospital colleagues on patients with physical and mental health needs.
• Deliver formal and informal teaching to hospital staff and MDTs.
• Work some evenings and weekends to support out-of-hours service.
