Job summary

Devon Partnership NHS Trust is seeking a Consultant Liaison Psychiatrist to join the Exeter Liaison Psychiatry Team. You will provide senior clinical leadership, supervise trainees, and advance integrated care pathways with trust and university links.

The role offers opportunities for teaching, research and involvement in national trials, within a 24/7 core team. Based at Wonford House Hospital in central Exeter, with multidisciplinary collaboration across services.

Qualifications

• Full GMC registration and valid licence to practise.
• Approved Clinician status prior to taking up the post.
• Eligible for Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCT at interview.
• Approved under section 12(2) of the Mental Health Act 1983.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior clinical leadership to the Liaison Psychiatry service.
• Engage in teaching, supervision and CPD for trainees.
• Lead governance and quality improvement within the service.
• Collaborate with university links and R&D activities.
