Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Sunderland, supporting a Year 5 class. You will work closely with teachers to support pupils and help manage behaviours throughout the school day.

Role requires a CACHE Level 3 TA qualification (or equivalent), experience in a primary setting, and a readiness to obtain an Enhanced DBS. This is a full-time position with hours 8:30am to 3:30pm and an immediate start.

Qualifications

• CACHE Level 3 TA qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience in a primary school setting preferred.
• Enhanced DBS via Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Support a Year 5 class and assist the class teacher.
• Help manage challenging behaviours and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Assist with pupil progress and classroom activities throughout the day.
