Senior Legionella Risk Assessor

Location: Midlands
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Legionella Risk Assessor to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional looking to take the next step in their career, with a key focus on delivering high-quality Legionella risk assessments and providing expert advice to clients.

You will be responsible for completing complex Legionella risk assessments across a range of hot and cold-water systems, including process systems and spa systems.

Key Duties

• Complete accurate and compliant Legionella risk assessments in line with ACoP L8, HSG 274 and BS 8580-1.
• Assess complex hot and cold-water systems, including process systems and spa facilities.
• Produce detailed, professional and grammatically accurate reports within agreed deadlines.
• Present assessment findings and recommendations to clients and Responsible Persons/Duty Holders.
• Identify risks and recommend appropriate remedial and control measures.
• Review and update risk assessment templates and assessment software.
• Liaise confidently with clients and other relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience conducting Legionella risk assessments.
• Strong knowledge of water systems and Legionella control.
• Experience assessing complex systems, including process and spa systems.
• Relevant Legionella qualifications, ideally City & Guilds Advanced Legionella Risk Assessment.
• Strong report-writing and client communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel nationwide and stay away when required.
