Qualifications

• LLB degree level education and practising certificate from Law Society of Scotland.
• Significant post-qualifying experience as a Scottish solicitor with senior-level responsibilities.
• Strong managerial, negotiation, drafting and advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Legal Services teams and oversee high-value litigation.
• Advise Chief Constable and Head of Legal Services; deputise when required.
• Oversee governance, risk management, budgets and CPD compliance.
