Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Senior Legal Officer in Wakefield to deliver legal support and advice on safeguarding children matters. Senior Legal Officer – Childcare needed in Wakefield, £16.62ph

PAYE – Reference: 000A 3EEB / 1

To undertake and be responsible for legal work necessary to discharge the functions and to implement the policies in accordance with the objective of providing an effective and efficient in-house Legal Service.

In particular, to provide legal support, assistance, and advice on matters relating to Safeguarding Children and Family Support, including the preparation of complex legal documentation, negotiation, and research without supervision.

To deputise for the Team Manager and Legal Manager on any issue falling within the range of duties and responsibilities carried out by the post holder.

This is a full-time role on a temporary contract basis.
