The Senior Legal Officer, working in cooperation with Legal Officers and Mercator Client Servicing Teams across locations, supports multinational clients in meeting increasing regulatory and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain and develop relationships with clients, Citco offices, law firms, and third parties.
2. Supervise designated client portfolios, ensuring timely and quality processing of queries and requests.
3. Draft, review, and provide feedback on corporate documents throughout all company lifecycle stages, from incorporation to dissolution, complying with legal requirements and deadlines.
4. Monitor statutory filings with local authorities.
5. Assist in coaching and developing team members for their professional growth.
6. Review and recommend improvements to existing processes and procedures.
7. Stay updated on legal changes in relevant jurisdictions and ensure compliance with industry-specific legal requirements.
8. Assist with client migration and onboarding processes.

Qualifications

About You:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law.
2. 3-5 years of experience providing corporate services to international clients.
3. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
4. Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
5. Flexible, proactive, detail-oriented team player with excellent communication skills.
