The Role: This position focuses on execution matters, including:

  1. Providing legal support in commercial and contractual matters.
  2. Collaborating with internal teams to develop contracting strategies and mitigate risks.
  3. Reviewing and negotiating a range of commercial agreements.
  4. Advising on compliance and regulatory matters.
  5. Managing disputes and providing contractual interpretations.
  6. Engaging with key stakeholders across various business functions.
  7. Enhancing legal processes and providing internal training.

The Person: The ideal candidate will have:

  1. A Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent qualification.
  2. 6+ years of legal experience in commercial or construction contracting within the renewable energy sector.
  3. Strong expertise in EPC FIDIC based contracts for offshore construction.
  4. Familiarity with project planning and scheduling techniques.
  5. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
  6. Strong communication skills and the ability to advise senior stakeholders.
  7. A detail-oriented approach and a proven track record in delivering high-quality results.
  8. The ability to provide effective solutions to complex project issues in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Willingness to travel as required.
  10. Career growth to Head of Legal in 2 years.
