Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years post-qualification experience in commercial law.
• Experience drafting/negotiating complex international contracts.
• Public procurement law knowledge, including Procurement Act 2023.
• Face-to-face negotiations with customers and legal teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist the GC by identifying legal risks and proposing pragmatic solutions.
• Advise on rail, shipping, solutions; litigation; employment; safety; environment; regulatory relations.
• Represent the organisation in discussions with partners, customers and suppliers.
• Develop, implement and review governance and compliance frameworks.
