Sheer Jobs Ltd. seeks a Locum Senior Lawyer (Contracts & Procurement) to join a Commercial Legal Team on a short-term basis. You will handle a varied workload in a local government setting, with minimal supervision from day one.

Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in commercial contracts, procurement, and advising senior stakeholders, including governance considerations and project support. Remote working is available for this 3-month engagement.

Qualifications

• Significant experience advising on commercial contracts and public procurement matters.
• Recent local government or wider public sector legal experience.
• Strong knowledge of procurement rules and policy frameworks.
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements.

Responsabilités

• Manage a complex caseload of commercial contracts and procurement matters.
• Advise Council officers and senior stakeholders on procurement and commercial issues.
• Draft, negotiate and advise on a wide range of commercial agreements.
• Provide guidance on governance and procurement strategy and risk.
