Job Title: M&A Lawyer (Mid-to-Senior Level) - London/Hybrid

About Our Client

Our client is a well-funded and expanding private equity-backed education business with operations and sites worldwide.

Job Description

We are seeking a lawyer to support the growth of the group by assisting with the execution of M&A projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Drafting and reviewing transaction documents
  2. Assessing legal risks
  3. Ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures

You will also:

  1. Support the Head of Corporate & Commercial on global M&A transactions, primarily on the buy side
  2. Manage relationships with external lawyers, advisors, and service providers involved in M&A transactions
  3. Collaborate with internal teams such as Corporate Development, Tax, and Finance to facilitate efficient deal progression and meet targets

The Successful Candidate

The ideal candidate is a qualified lawyer in the UK or a common law jurisdiction, with training at an international law firm and substantial experience in cross-border M&A transactions throughout the deal lifecycle. Additional experience in real estate, greenfield or brownfield development, and corporate finance transactions is desirable. Knowledge of international laws and cross-border transactions is a plus.
