In-House Litigation Lawyer (2-year FTC) | Milton Keynes/Hybrid | £65 - 75k + bonus

A premium brand in the automotive sector is looking for an In-House Litigation Lawyer to join their established legal team. This is a high-profile opportunity to work on complex disputes and complaints within the financial services business, supporting the Head of Legal and wider leadership team.

Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of a diverse caseload, including consumer finance disputes, debt recovery, and customer satisfaction claims.
  • Handle Financial Ombudsman complaints, working closely with regulators, external counsel, and internal stakeholders.
  • Support litigation strategy, draft legal reports, and advise senior stakeholders on risk and resolution.
  • Help develop processes to improve outcomes for customers and the business.
About you
  • Qualified solicitor (3+ PQE) or equivalent
  • Strong experience in litigation and dispute resolution within financial services
  • Knowledge of FCA rules and experience engaging with the FOS
  • Excellent drafting, advocacy, and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive, pragmatic approach with the ability to manage competing priorities
