Job Description:

Delighted to be exclusively recruiting for a leading Insurance Broking organisation seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join their team.

The client is a leader in its field with a niche focus and a fantastic company culture, supported by a first-class legal team led by an experienced General Counsel.

This role involves interaction with key stakeholders across the business, including C-Suite, Claims, Underwriting, and Finance, with a UK and global focus, providing exposure to multi-jurisdictional work.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the Broking & Claims Teams on pre- and post-litigation matters.
• Providing claims advisory and coverage advice.
• Drafting and revising policy wordings and collaborating with underwriting on new product development.
• Handling ad-hoc legal inquiries, including data privacy, employment, and regulatory issues.
• Drafting and advising on commercial insurance agreements such as TOBAs, Insurer NDAs, Broker Agreements, and other contracts.

Candidates should have at least 4 years PQE, with experience in Insurance, either in Private Practice or In-house. Experience in an insurance broking environment and understanding of the regulatory landscape are advantageous.
