A privately held global leader that generates annual revenues of approximately €4.6 billion and operates in 39 countries across six continents. With a workforce exceeding 30,000 employees, it delivers services through over 2,600 service centres and more than 10,000 mobile units, serving approximately 16 million consumers annually.

The business is known for its purpose-led culture, commitment to service excellence, and strong customer satisfaction. It operates under multiple respected brands and maintains a values-driven ethos, placing a premium on integrity, innovation, and social responsibility.

Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and commercially astute Senior Legal Counsel to join the Legal function within the Technology and Transformation team. This is a key role within the Customer Transformation team, which sits under the broader Technology & Transformation division. The successful candidate will report into the Head of Legal for the Customer team and work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, including Technology, Product, and Commercial functions.

This opportunity arises due to a team reshaping, as part of an ongoing transformation journey that reflects the evolving nature of our business and the technological landscape. The role is central to ensuring continued legal support for complex, high-value, and fast-paced projects.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Advise on a broad range of complex commercial contracts and technology-driven initiatives.
  • Provide legal support across B2B and B2C arrangements, including strategic partnerships, licensing, and service agreements.
  • Support on regulatory compliance matters, particularly those relevant to technology and digital services.
  • Engage proactively with stakeholders across Technology, Product, and Operations to understand and anticipate legal and commercial risks.
  • Work closely with the internal Data Protection team to support data-related matters, without requiring privacy specialist expertise.
  • Lead and support transformation-driven legal workstreams, aligning legal strategy with business priorities.

Candidate Profile:

  • Qualified lawyer with 5–8 years post-qualification experience (PQE), ideally with training from a top-tier law firm and subsequent in-house experience.
  • Strong background in commercial and technology law, with an ability to handle complex projects under tight deadlines.
  • Experience working in both B2B and B2C environments, preferably within regulated or tech-driven sectors.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative and proactive approach.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive and high-performing legal team.
  • Robust and resilient, with a commercial mindset and a practical approach to legal risk.

Desirable:

  • Experience or familiarity with data protection issues as they relate to technology projects.
  • A track record of working in fast-moving or high-growth environments undergoing transformation.

Benefits include a car allowance, generous bonus and more.
