The Opportunity

We’re partnering with a leading institutional asset manager (c.£250M AUM) known for its forward-thinking approach and broad asset class coverage. Their legal team is growing, and they’re now seeking a Senior Legal Counsel (Regulated Funds & Distribution) to support UK and cross-border fund activity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise on UK authorised fund structures (UCITS, NURS, LTAFs)
• Support UK AIF launches and ongoing management
• Provide regulatory guidance on cross-border distribution
• Drive input into regulatory change projects
• Manage external counsel and third-party relationships
• Draft, review and negotiate key fund and distribution agreements
• Help shape internal policy and contribute to team leadership

What You’ll Bring:

• E&W qualified solicitor (c. 4+ PQE) having trained at a recongised law or in-house within asset management
• Strong knowledge of UK authorised funds and regulatory landscape
• Experience with AIFs is a bonus
• Excellent legal drafting and communication skills
• Commercial mindset with a collaborative working style
