Your new company
A leading engineering company is considering adding a talented construction legal professional to their team, initially on a 4-month contract, with potential for a permanent role upon completion. The company specializes in sustainable green energy infrastructure and is experiencing significant growth.
Your new role
Reporting to the General Counsel and based in the City, this is a newly created position within the generalist commercial capacity. The company is undergoing acquisitions and is backed by a reputable Private Equity firm. You will contribute to the in-house legal team, focusing on non-contentious construction matters, including GDPR projects.
This role offers an opportunity for a driven lawyer to play a key part during a busy period for the team. It is progressive and within a small, dynamic team.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally, you will have at least 4+ PQE (guideline only; strong candidates with lower PQE may be considered) and experience in non-contentious construction. Articulacy, impact, and innovative thinking are valued. GDPR experience is a plus but not essential. This position is suitable for an exceptional legal professional seeking a senior role in construction law.
What you'll get in return
Salary of £90k-£100k (pro-rated), with a hybrid working policy of 2–3 days in the office per week, within a major and innovative infrastructure company.
Note: If you do not hold a passport for the country of the vacancy, a work permit may be required. Please refer to our Blog for more info.
