Job description

We are delighted to be partnering with a global financial technology company specialising in FX, Crypto, and Commodities trading to support their search for a Senior Legal Counsel based in their London office. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a mid-senior E & W qualified Lawyer working within Financial Services, looking to work at a growing company, very much at the forefront of innovation and creativity in the space!

Key Responsibilities

  • Advising on all regulatory matters including marketing matters to ensure compliance and acting as a strategic advisor to the exec team to facilitate international growth.
  • Drafting, negotiating and reviewing commercial contracts.
  • Leading on all dispute prevention and resolution matters to safeguard the business.
  • Liaising with other stakeholders, providing them with any legal risk from decisions being made and recommendations to ensure compliance and success.
  • Working on cross border international work and liaising with regulators to ensure compliance and proactiveness.

Qualifications

  • England and Wales qualified lawyer with at least 5 years PQE
  • Currently works within the Fintech/Financial Services industry
  • Proven experience in regulatory compliance, commercial contracts drafting, and media/marketing compliance
