A leading global media company is looking for an experienced mid-level lawyer based in London. The role involves providing legal support for the EMEA region's advertising team and commercial content production. Ideal candidates will have strong legal experience in media distribution and advertising regulation, with excellent drafting skills. Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine.
Versant International requires an experienced mid-level lawyer to provide legal support for the EMEA regions for the CNBC International advertising team, the commercial content production business, and the CNBC International EMEA channel distribution team. The candidate would have experience within TMT practice groups and have excellent drafting skills and a commercial outlook.
The candidate would work closely with the commercial teams in London to maximise revenue and reach for Versant International news brands with a particular focus on CNBC International which is the number one business and financial news channel. Specific responsibilities are:
