A leading company is seeking to appoint a Senior Legal Counsel to join their established legal team in Birmingham. This role involves leading complex commercial deals and supporting junior lawyers. Qualifications

• At least 6 years PQE gained at leading high value, complex commercial projects.

Arbuthnot Yon are working exclusively with a listed global business seeking to appoint a Senior Legal Counsel to join their large, established legal team.

We are keen to hear from lawyers with at least 6 year PQE gained at leading high value, complex commercial projects either in-house or in private practice.

Reporting into the Legal Director as one of the senior lawyers in the team you will be responsible for leading on large high value complex deals and supporting less experienced lawyers in the team.

The key focus of this role will involve advising on, drafting and negotiating a range of commercial contracts from procurement to customer facing supply and out-sourcing agreements. You will also get involved in wider a range of legal issues including intellectual property, information technology, competition law, data privacy, supporting on litigation matters and regulatory areas.

The business culture is friendly and relaxed and you will have significant interaction with senior Directors and stakeholders.

This is a great opportunity to step up in a blue-chip business where you will be both strategically and operationally focused. We are also keen to hear from lawyers who are currently in Senior Legal Counsel roles but looking for a change.
