Job description

There is a requirement for a Senior Legal Counsel within the Legal team of a global offshore and subsea services provider based in Aberdeen. This provider has a trusted reputation within the energy industry, with successful offshore operations spanning five decades.

The role involves providing commercially astute legal advice to the UK and Canadian conventional, renewables, and global IRM businesses with a high degree of autonomy. Responsibilities include supporting tendering activities, assessing risks, reviewing and negotiating contracts, and providing legal support across various departments.

Applications are invited from commercial lawyers with demonstrable experience in the UK energy sector, including offshore/EPCI contract negotiation skills. Candidates with the required skills but not yet operating at this level will also be considered.
