Your New Company: We are working with a pioneer in the Alternative Legal Service Provider (ALSP) market, leading the next evolution in legal services through AI-integrated contracting. They are searching for a Contracts Specialist to join their team as a Senior Legal Associate (Contract Management) in Northampton. Our client is a market leader in Integrated Law, combining Traditional Law, New Law, and in-house legal expertise to deliver complex legal work at scale. They collaborate with corporate legal departments to address the demands of transactional legal work. Their approach integrates specialist expertise, AI-powered solutions, and business process knowledge to improve performance and outcomes. Their clients include Fortune 500 companies, global banks, pharmaceutical companies, and large technology firms, with a team of over 300 professionals across Europe and North America.

Your Role: As the Senior Legal Associate (Contract Management), you will support clients by drafting and negotiating a wide range of contracts, providing general support to their contracts management and in-house legal teams. If you are a team player, collaborative, and communicative with both technical and non-technical audiences, and bring a result-driven, energetic, confident, curious, and fun attitude, this role is for you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Drafting and negotiating various Commercial Contracts.
  2. Collaborating with clients’ in-house legal teams on international deals, bids, procurement, marketing, professional services, media, technology, or consumer matters.
  3. Managing active caseloads.
  4. Adhering to delivery processes and commitments.
  5. Managing data on company and client systems.
  6. Developing contract templates, playbooks, and tools.
  7. Continuously improving service delivery and adding value.

Requirements:

  • Law Degree and/or Legal Qualification.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, preferably within a law firm, ALSP, or in-house legal team.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Client-facing experience.
  • Good commercial awareness.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word.
  • Alignment with company values: Authenticity, Accountability, Adaptability, Stewardship.

Desirable:

  • Experience in telecommunications, financial services, or professional services contracting.
  • In-house legal experience.
